Easy Kielbasa Potato Green Bean Casserole
This casserole recipe is so easy because it doesn’t involve cooking the potatoes or sausage on the stove first. All you do is add everything to a baking dish and cook in the oven! We love crockpot kielbasa and green bean recipes, like my Crockpot Kielbasa and Green Beans, Slow Cooker Sausage Barley Soup and Slow Cooker Kielbasa, Tomatoes and Green Beans, but sometimes I just don’t have the time in the morning to get everything ready, so instead I came up with this casserole! This is as simple as cutting up veggies, adding everything into a baking dish, giving it a mix and then cooking for 50 minutes. Once the potatoes are tender, then it’s time to serve! Bonus: if you love this dish, you’ll also like my Sausage Potato and Pepper Casserole.
Ingredients
Want to use another type of sausage?
Instead of kielbasa you can also use mild or hot Italian sausage. You could even use ground sausage!
How to Make Kielbasa and Green Bean Casserole
Add all of the ingredients into a 9×13 baking dish and stir to fully mix. Bake (uncovered) until kielbasa is fully cooked and potatoes are tender, about 45-55 minutes. Serve and enjoy this yummy kielbasa casserole!
You can freeze this casserole!
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days. This casserole also freezes amazing! I can 100% tell you this because we just defrosted one I made for meal prep a few nights ago for dinner and everybody loved it! To freeze, allow to cool and then either cover the casserole dish with plastic wrap and aluminum foil and then transfer to freezer. Or if you’re like me and don’t have a casserole dish to lose I spoon mine into a large freezer bag and then freeze. When ready to use, defrost in the microwave, add to a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes or until warm. Pin for later:
